How to print the emulation screen

Note: If you want to print a report or other output that is generated by your host application, use the printing function of that application. Check with your system administrator to determine what host application printing capabilites are available to you.

Use the method described below to print part or all of the emulation screen and history.

  1. Highlight the text you want to print.

To print the current screen, you don't need to select any text. To select all the text on the current screen and in the history, click Edit>Select screen + history.

  2. Click the print button and standard print dialog appears.

Printing capabilities are dependent on your browser and client type. The Print button is available on the Windows Thin Client, Java JDK-1.1/1.3 client, and Java Application. Note: In the Java JDK-1.1/1.3 client, the print dialog Print Selection option will always appear disabled. It's not.
