Client Graphics and Menus

The Connect/Disconnect buttons allow you to manage your
connection to the host.
Note: If you click the Disconnect button without logging off the
host, the host may think that you are still connected.

The Edit menu allows you to manipulate your display. You can:
- Clear Screen: Clears the current screen. Available in non-IBM sessions only.
- Clear Input Fields: Clears the unprotected fields on the current screen. Available in IBM sessions only.
- Clear History: Clears all information from the history buffer.
- Select Screen: Selects the current screen for
printing.
- Select Screen + History: Selects the current screen and history
for printing.

The Commands menu allows you to control your host session with
the following Menu commands.
- View Persona Buttons: Toggles view of Persona Buttons available
for this session.
- View Terminal Keyboard: Brings up a popup keyboard
that you can use to click on keys to send to the host.
- View Keyboard Map: Brings up another instance of
your browser with the default keyboard mapping.
- Stop Macro: Stops currently running macro. Occasionally a macro
gets hung up waiting for information from the host, thus locking up your session.
Click this to resume your session or start another macro.
- Send Break: Sends a break command to the host.
- Reset Terminal: In VT sessions, this corresponds
to a Secure reset. For IBM terminals, this resets the
keyboard when the host locks. It's the same as pressing
the Reset key on the IBM keyboard.
- Get Printer/Release Printer: Either lists printers for you to choose from or automatically gets a printer for you, depending on how your Persona administrator set up the session. This option is available in IBM 3270 and IBM 5250 sessions that have been configured for PDF printing by the Persona administrator. The Release Printer option makes the printer you've been using available to other users.

The Print button allows you to print a Persona session screen
or selected text through your web browser. Printing capabilities are dependent
on your browser. See How to print for more information.

The closed lock symbol indicates the session is connected and has encryption enabled. An unlock symbol indicates the session is not connected or your session does not have enryption enabled. Notify your Persona administrator if you see an open lock symbol. Clicking this icon displays information regarding the level of encryption. Note: Secure sessions may take longer to
connect.

The Hold/Resume button pauses the host. This is useful when the host is sending a lot of information all at once and you want to pause it so you can read the display.

The Help menu gives you a choice of help pages defined by your
system administrator or Persona version information.
